Mister Highland embodies a seamless fusion of Amsterdam's historic charm and modern artistic expression. Every aspect of our hotel, from the classic façade to the contemporary art installations, tells a story of a city that reveres its past while embracing the future. Osiris Hertman, the renowned top designer known from, among others, Brass Boer and the visionary force behind various breathtaking dream villas from Bali, Monaco, Barcelona, and at Blue Bay Curaçao, to exclusive penthouses in Amsterdam, all distinguished by the frequent use of artisanally crafted materials.

One of his masterpieces is the unique hotel Mister Highland Amsterdam, where his unparalleled design skills come to life. You enter a national heritage hall equipped with 3 huge golden lampshades by Osiris Hertman, and then you are taken on a unique design experience.

With a harmonious interplay of Osiris Hertman's signature design style, and various products of his creation, along with contemporary art by Bram Reijnders, the hotel exudes an atmosphere of inviting luxury.
In every corner of the hotel, you can find the signature of Osiris Hertman, including products which he has designed one by one: Mosaic for the Mosaic Factory are artfully placed on the centerpiece bar, wooden tiles made from recycled teak in Asia for Wonderwall Studios, steel design doors for De Rooy lead you to the guest toilets, and sinks for JEE-O and hand-chiseled sinks in the hallway made of extremely hard quartzite.
The entire entrance lobby, which also serves as a cocktail bar, is equipped with acoustic hexagon felt tiles designed by Enzo Pellini. They are affixed to an endlessly continuous wall, a room without corners; where the ceiling extends into the walls and the back wall is connected to the side walls.
Refined bedspreads, curtains in every room featuring images from his Quintalisque tile collection, and sections of the artworks by Bram Reijnders.
Mister Highland Amsterdam is not just a refuge for travelers, but also an inspiring meeting spot in the lobby with a cocktail bar featuring a pink ceiling, a chandelier made of as many as 50 copper lampshades, a dreamy beach artwork; where design enthusiasts and adventurers come together.
Osiris Hertman has created a timeless and enchanting place to stay with his creative genius and attention to detail, where guests are immersed in a world of refinement and beauty. You really get away from it all, and that in the heart of Amsterdam, just a few steps from the Dam monument.
